Draw Repair Tool

Citizen Dildo
I've encountered a few gars that I felt had a draw that inhibited my enjoyment of the stick.

How many folks own and use a draw tool like the one offered by Henry's? Is it simple to use ?

I use a Henry's Tool. Yes -- it's simple to use (even has directions that come with it). I've saved numerous cigars from being just tossed.

I havn't had to use them too many times but when I did, they worked perfectly. volfan (Scottie) gifted me set and I am truly appreciative.

I have not used an of the Henry tools,
I used a Don Salvatore Havana Draw Enhancer, Looks like a BIC pen but tool is inside.

I have saved a few gars that way..:ss

I use my hands =/. I usually just kinda pinch the end at all angles so it loosens it up a bit at the end. That works for me

I have and have used a "Draw Poker" with good results but I have also used a straightened coat hanger, welding rod, or whatever.

Thanks Dave - Do you know if this is available online?

Henry's tools can be bought from Heartfelt Industries (i believe BOTL Viper is the owner)

I can hook you up with a new one for cheap as I order from Salvatore weekly and have a few in hand now.
If your interested ..13.00$ shipped with DC# , you can PM me..
I have never priced Henry's so I cannot speak of comparison,

This is open for all CS brothers.... :D

I first bought the "Drawpoker Tool, but I did not like as I split the end of the cigar a few times...Bought the Henry's Tools from Heartfelt and love 'em...My friend uses a small bar-b-que skewer with good results.... :ss

I wound up picking up a set of Henry's when I needed to by a couple pounds of beads for my Vino:ss

Only had to use them once, but they worked like a charm! Highly recommend them.

Often my small gauge cigars have too tight of a draw. To remedy, I use an old fashion ice pick. It opens a path for the smoke and does not "damage" the cigar. I check the draw before lighting, and if too tight I gently and slowly push the ice pick all the way through the cigar from the clipped head to the foot, then remove the ice pick, recheck the draw, and then toast/light-up. Sometimes the draw is still too tight. A second pass with the ice pick usually does the trick. Do it slow and twist while inserting the ice pick.
