Finally Turning 21!!! Thoughts?

I have already done the getting drunk thing, so that's not gonna happen, I don't think. ;-) However, I am thinking of what I want to do..I am sure it will involve a cigar or two. Anyone remember their 21st bday and what they did? Anyhow, finally, no more barriers to have to cross...now I'm on the slippery slope to the grave..LOLOL I have always wanted to try a little Remy Martin XO, but just bring myself to spend $150 a bottle..Maybe I'll splurge..when I turn 50!! :7 :7 :7 :7

I spent my 21st in Clearfield, PA doing the drunk thing. Life just gets better with age!! Happpier now than I have ever been.

Well, lets see... When I turned 21 I was sitting in the middle of the Persian Gulf on combat alert... Nope, ya don't want to do that. I'd say grab a handfull of good cigars and a few friends and just let it happen. Enjoy and Happy Birthday!
 
When I turned 21 I went into our fraternity's favorite bar along with a bunch of my brothers. The bar always let you drink free pitchers on your 21st. (Laws were waaaaaayyyy different then.) I presented my drivers license and the owner looked at me and said.....

"Bulls--t Flip! You ain't drinking free. If that license is for real, then you've been using a fake ID in here the past two and half years so consider that your freebie!"

Guy couldn't take a joke I reckon. ;-)

case of beer, 21 shots of Cuervo Gold, a couple of shots of 151 Rum, one of which I lit on fire so I wouldn't have to drink it, a few "watermelon" shots, some Steak -n- Shake for breakfast, put to bed by my girlfriend, passed out, got up, ran into a door, woke up with my head in the toilet and my dad over the top of me video taping, Easter dinner the next day, puking on my aunt's new carpet, did I mention it was white carpet and I had just had a Green River soda, two days of recovery and back in the tavern for Ladies Night on Wednesday. Just a typical day.... ;)
 
21 huh? Geez, that was half my life ago! Agree with a couple of others, have something special - cigar and drink wise. As for cognac in the same price range, try some kelts XO.

After reading Matts story (which is much funnier when he's smoking a cigar and has had a few adult beverages! lol), I think I would avoid over doing it - the pain afterwards has never been worth it - well at least for me.
 
dec/7/76...island in mexico,full moon,bottle of khalua(and a litre of milk),went down to the beach with a girl from new york city.ended up about eight of us on the beach(6 too many in my opinion).the only mexican guy there offered to role a "smoke",about the time he got the fixens out,eight or ten mexican police came trotting down the beach toward us.they started talking to the only one fluent in spanish(he had tucked the rolling material under his knee).while talking to them i was thinking...13 years in a mexican jail.turns out they were looking for somone reported to be drowning and showed up 1/2 hour later with the guy(coughing lots but ok).
didnt get drunk,didnt get high,didnt get the girl but still the best 21st i could have ever hoped for.ahhhhhh the memories.

Finally turning 21, eh? Soon you will be saying...damn 40 already! LOL I spent my 21st birthday stoned out of my mind for 24 hours. I'm glad that I grew out of that nonsense. Spend the day with those that you love, and it will certainly be a great day! Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday justso, poker and filly!!!

Planning my weekend already. Friday we are going for some
cajun food, beer, live music and cigars.

Saturday, I thinking about Kansas City Strip steak, live
jazz, Makers Mark and cigars.

Sunday, the big family thing with cake, ice cream and
presents.
 
I remember being grateful that I did'nt have to go across the Mississippi to Illinois from Missouri to drink anymore. I remember a place called the Tick Tock Lounge and some REO Speedwagon music playing (it was 1976), the rest is a bit of a blur.

The day after however is perfectly clear. There was a pain and ringing in my head that still makes me cringe to this day. On the bright side, I woke up next to a little Amer-Asian honey who had made me one of the best breakfasts that I had ever had the pleasure of throwing up.
