I am thankful for Goat Locker and every service person who does what they do every day! They allow us to do what we do every day.
 
It's good to see some recognition for what is generally a thankless job. Here's to a good tour, a safe return and a fine cigar to celebrate.

She's not quite as shiny or new, but she's still a fine ship. I was talking to a SGTMAJ today, and he was also on PELELIU back in 82, his first deployment. This will be his last.
