leather 3-finger cases...do you humidify?

I was just wondering if anyone here uses humidification in their finger cases, and if so, what and how well does it work? If not, do they just use the finger case as is, or condition it some other way beforehand?

:tpd: But....this will depend on the seal and how long you plan to have these cigars in the case and what the ambient RH is.

If your going to smoke these cigars from your 3 finger case in 1 - 2 days and it seals okay no worries.

If this 3 finger case is you supply on your 3 week trip in the desert not so good.
 
I use a 3 finger leather case with one finger occupied by a DryMistat gel humidification stick if I am going to be gone for awhile or in dry climate.:2
 
I use a leather 3 finger, and find that it works like dry boxing. By the time I get where I am going, the cigars smoke better than they probably would have without putting them in the case.

They will be more than fine without adding a humidification device.
 
I have one three finger carrier that is plastic and has an integral humi device.
Never used it...YET...
I don't see the need to add humi toa three finger. Now the larger capacity carriers I do put humidification in. I treat them as my humidors.

I aklso store my leather fingered carriers in the humidifier box.

2 and 3 finger cases are meant for protecting a couple of sticks when you go out for the night. humidification should not be needed for a couple of hours. if you are gonna try to use one for a travel humi i would suggest tupperware or ziplocks. i havent seen many 2-3finger leather cases that have any kind of seal that will keep humidity in.

as far as travel humis i have a 5, 10, and 30ct and never use humidity devices in any of them...the seal is so air tight i have left them in the travel humis for a week or more with no humidity added and they were fine
