This is a public service post. I am NOT an admin - I just gathered some information together that I thought would be useful.

Hello newbies (relatively speaking that includes me).
I'm guessing you came here looking for some specific information.
Maybe you've noticed the search feature and used it to find exactly what you need.
In any case, there are an awful lot of questions that are just completely natural to ask about cigars. Everyone wants to know the same things at first.

Some of these common questions are stickies in the various forums.
Explore all of the forums and look at the stickies that are at the top of each.
However, there are some other common questions that are not stickies.
This thread is to help you find them.

Good point Roger - I've already found a couple more threads I should have put in as well, but it's too late to edit.
Maybe after this sits for a week or two and it becomes clear what is missing, an admin can edit the original post to put a few more links in and keep it all up top.

The moderator can continue to edit your post. Check with IHT, but he may be willing to copy and paste from a PM if you send him the links and edit them into your original post.

radar is correct.

put a list together, what you want the link to say, and provide the link, and i'll edit it in there for you.

sorry i didn't sticky this (i guess someone used credits, or PDS did it), i've got a ton of stuff going on (and i never actually saw this topic until just now).

we can do it item by item, so if you have some now, go ahead and PM them to me. when you think of something else (or anyone, for that matter), feel free to PM me about putting it in this thread.

Sounds good - so far I just have a few ideas of what I missed. I need to go through and get the thread ids, do the formatting, etc.
I've been pretty busy too but hope to get to this sometime over the weekend.
