Savoy Cutter Problem

My Girlfriend bought my a Savoy cutter last year for a birthday or something and I'm having a problem with it. I know I should just go out and buy a Palio..which I want to, but I think if she saw me using something else all the time, Shed get semi hurt? I guess the word is.

Anyway, The body is held together by 4 rivet looking screws. Two of these screws have fallen out and I can no longer use it due to it falling apart when I try to use it. Is there anywhere I can look or call to try to get a new set of these screws? Theyre very tiny and not the usual type.

Thanks

I have the same cutter, and one of my screws have fallen out. I was hoping that they did not hold the pieces together.
To answer your question, my only guess would to be and try a place like Fastenal.
I looked online for the manufacturer and I could not find anything for who manufactures the cutter.

not sure on the screws - try Lowes perhaps, they have a specialty fastener section with the hardware in the drawers.

On a side note - I had a Savoy cutter for a while, and thought it was great. Then, I finally gave in and bought a Palio - it was at that point I learned the only reason I felt the Savoy was great was since it was the best I had ever owned - The Palio showed how wrong I was - it is OUTSTANDING!

Incase anyone else has this problem down the road with any savoy/ashton product.

I found the customer service email for ashton and emailed them about my problem, the next respsonse was asking for an adress and a lady being very nice and appologizing for everything. Within a week I receieved a package with a brand new cutter inside. I cant ask for more than that. No questions asked or anything, just sent it right away.

You guys are slipping up. It took three posts for someone to mention the Palio. Please be more attentive in the future or we'll have to report you to the Palio authorities.

;)
