Sizes and reviews...

SilverBack
Hey LLG's,

I enjoy reading the reviews that all of you post.
One thing I wish that would be in all reviews is
the size of the cigar. I am not familiar with
each by name in relation to the size. I also trust
your reviews and use them as a guide of what to
look for when I go stogie shopping. If I have an
idea of the size then I have a better idea of what
I'm looking for. Also, it let's me know how I would
consider this smoke in relation the time to smoke it.

So, would you please add the size(ex. 5x48) in the
reviews? If I am asking for too much let me know.
I'll admit I'm lazy and could go look up the smoke
somewhere else but that takes an extra step while
after I read the review.

------------------------------------------------------
A)If you typically smoke 1 cigar per year (or less)
B)If you smoke about 1 cigar per week
C)If you smoke 1 or more cigars per day

Mild

A)The 1st cigar is enjoyable and you catch a buzz. The second is a little heavy. The third gives you a headache. The scotch makes you nauseous.

B)The first cigar tastes great, but a little weak. You think that the name Coors Light is redundant. The second and third cigars finally add up to that great cigar you smoked last week. The scotch is just right.

C)After the third cigar you'll regret having bought this worthless crap. You look for someone selling Cubans but you settle for a second scotch.

Medium

A)The first cigar gives you a headache. The second makes you nauseous. The third makes you hurl. You skip the scotch.

B)The first is delicious and the second gives you a buzz. The third gives you a headache and the scotch amplifies it.

C)After the second cigar and the second scotch you are reasonably content. The third cigar finally adds up to a real cigar. Bummer it isn't Cuban.

Full Bodied

A)The first cigar makes you nauseous. The second one makes you hurl. The third renders you unconscious. You never even thought about the scotch.

B)The first is Nirvana. The second gives you a bit of a headache and you intelligently skip the third after seeing the rookie hurl. The scotch takes the edge off.

C)You make Shakespeare roll over in his grave when you say "Oh Cohiba, Cohiba, how do I love thee.." after the first. The buzz settles in after the second. The third gives you a bit of a headache which you blame on the scotch.

You didn't happen to "borrow" that from the Habanos SA site }>? I have the same list on my PDA without the pictures :p.

Now I know the firewall server at work won't be letting me surf here much longer. It already classifies ICG as a porn site occasionally.

How true.

You can also try the following site; however they only focus on Cubans. I would suggest not quoting from them as certain forum members freak out. I use this site a lot before trying a new brand and size. The site is excellent for cigar education and data collection.

www.cigars-review.org

I have also come across a Cigar database (windows application called CigarBriefCase) for keeping track of your sticks and can be used for personal ratings etc.
