I bet you Belgian beer aficionados are already familiar with this brew, but it was a new one one me. I picked it up at the liquor store a couple of weeks ago on a friend's recommendation. It lay almost forgotten at the bottom of the fridge until last night.
Served fridge temperature in a Chimay goblet. Swirling clouds of yeast give it a very full mouth feel. Fruity and slightly herby flavor with nicely balanced hops and a medium finish.
9% ABV. You might want to share the 750ml bottle.
Suggested accompaniment: a nicely aged Punch Punch or maybe something from the Aurora 100 Años line.
