Has anyone seen the previews for this? It looks hilarious. I'm a sucker for silly/stupid comedy and this one looks right up my alley. Not to mention it's recieved GREAT reviews, including from the San Jose Mercury and San Francisco Chronicle newspapers -- these two hardly agree on films!
It's from the makers of Knocked up and the 40 yr old virgin. If you have seen those and loved them, I bet you will like Superbad. It opens tonight!

Yeah, I really want to see this, but the theater by me charges $12 for admission on Fri/Sat nights, so I will probably catch a matinee on a weekday. I heard they started writing this film in 10th grade.

The theatre by my house charges $10.50 and if you catch a Matinee before Noon it's only $6.50. I see a lot of movies in the morning. :tu

Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing this one. I missed Knocked up but it might still be in one of the bigger theaters by my house. But this looks like it'll be hilarious, and I'm kind of in the mood for a stupid comedy movie. This should fit the bill.
Darrell how do you have 300+ posts in less than a week? That's just insane :r

I'm going tonight at 8:15. Going to be a zoo; but that is ok. Best time to see a comedy is with a full house. Should be great but I'm going to have to get there early.
Saw Knocked-Up on a Sunday afternoon and the (ahem)"older/family" audience totally killed the feel of it. Nothing worse than Grandma & her two 13 year-old grand-daughters staring at you as you laugh out-loud at a vulger joke.:fu

I really want to watch this movie. I liked the 40 year old virgin. Haven't seen knocked up. But this movie has an actor from one of my favorite shows ever (Arrested Development). Should be good times.

Saw the movie tonight with the girlfriend and we both loved it. Non-stop laughter from the entire audience. Very raunchy stuff...can't get enough of that. ;)

we just watched this and my friend and i didn't really enjoy it. however, there were plenty of people in the theatre who were laughing out loud for a good portion of the movie. to me, it was basically the same joke the whole time. might be more fun for the younger crowd, but i'll let you be the judge.

It was funny. Good movie? No. But extremely funny? Yes. It could have ended about 40 minutes before it did IMO.

I thought it was funny. I did not think it was the best and funniest movie ever, like I had heard others claim. I will get it on DVD and watch it, it's a good laugh.

I would agree... but at least in this one they had a B-storyline (mclovin)... He must have learned from 40 Year Old Virgin
My insides started hurting during the explanation of why Seth hated Evan's crush. Way too funny.

I can't wait to see Seth Rogan's next film. He's on fire right now - 40 yr old virgin, Knocked up and Superbad. What a resume.

Definitely one of the funniest movies I've seen. Constant laughter kept me from hearing quite a few of the lines when I saw it the first time on opening night. This one's achieved instant classic status imho. I can't wait to see what else Mr. Rogen's got up his sleeve.

I thought it was the most creative and funniest version of that particular story that I have watched. I will probably see it again, in some extended uncut DVD release. :tu

This movie was WICKED funny! Anyone who likes to laugh should watch this movie. To all that have seen it: My favorite part is when the dude is telling the story about when he was younger (you know with all the pictures, and at the end too) I thought I was going to bust a gut from laughing so hard. Do yourself a favor and if you haven't seen it yet, go out and watch it. You won't be sorry. Unless you're one of those people without a sense of humour.
