Your Cigar Den
127 S. Fraser Street, Rear
State College, PA 16801

There is a decent little cigar shop with a smoking lounge in downtown State College. They carry a few pipes and accessories as well as provide rentable lockers for storing your adult beverage of choice.

I think the people there are very good. I know some that had a little harder of a time getting a good response from the owner. I think he wants to test to see if you are a college student looking for a swirsher sweet or an actuall cigar....

I am one that had a bit of a hard time. They were "out" of a lot of smokes I was looking for "at the moment" - went in specifically for the CAO Italia - any size but did not have them. The owner told me that the Brazillia were about the same as the Italia. I know better. I don't think I'll be back. My girlfriend got a weird vibe as well. There is a tobacco/cigarette store in Belfonte (10 minutes away from State College) that has a good selection and no hard times. They even carry Flor De Ybor City! No need to go to Tampa or pay shipping anymore. The Choise Cigarette stores also have humidors with a good selection too. Too bad the owners of "your cigar store" in State College are not too nice. They are missing out of a lot of good business with the college crowd.

I like this place. It has a good atmosphere and decent selection. I'm not crazy about the owner though, he has his own ways of thinking when it comes to cigars that don't always agree with what we read here on the internet. They also do not have a website, which irritates me.

But, like I said, good atmosphere good selection, pretty good prices also. They have a "normal" area to smoke then a lounge (TV and couches). The owner's wife is also much much more friendly.

As was mentioned, they have some pipes with great prices. The cheaper pipes they have are high end imports that typically go for $80+ but have cosmetic defects to them, and are priced at $35 or so. Pretty cool IMO.

They also have cigar lockers that you can rent out.

I have a problem with their prices - for example they sell a tin of Macanudo small cigars (about 30 gauge x 4") for around $18. The suggested list on these small cigars, 10 per tin, is about $14, and I can buy them on-line for less than $10 per tin!

i don't get a friendly vib no matter what i do in there. I'm not a fan but since it's one of the few places to smoke inside in sc, i don't have a choice when i go back to psu

Yes, the Smokers Express on Bishop St. in Bellefonte has a pretty good selection, and the owner will order anything you ask if they don't stock it.
The Cigar Den told me over two months ago they were going to get in some small tinned cigars...

... but nothing has happened.

Next time you are in town you can smoke in CHAMPS. The have a cigar room in the basement bar/pool hall. TVs all over the place too to see the games. The cabinet/humidor is a little over priced, but what do you expect. You can bring your own I assume. The cigarette smokers do.....

I don't know how Champs does it with the no smoking laws these days, but it is nice to go out downtown and not come home smelling like an ashtray.

But for now, the basement pool hall is an option to smoke indoors in the winter months...
