View Full Version : Perdomo Habano
I got a note the other day from Perdomo. I went on over to the B and M who had a Perdomo Habano. Never smoked it before. Apparently this is the the cigar that was RTDA. It was straight from the box they had. It was ok burned straight held ash really well. Kinda just a straight forward smoke. I guess I will have to try another to see what I think to give a review. I did get a shot of it with the camera phone. But haven't got it uploaded yet. It started off interesting and then went to just a straight tasting smoke. No changes in flavor profile. Perhaps I did not smoke it fast enough. It was rather mild did not have too much of a nicotine hit. Maybe it was my fault for not smoking it fast enough. Maybe I was too worried about getting rained on. It has a great colorado or maduro type wrapper that held up well. I guess at this point I have to go with the Lot 23. I don't want to just evaluate this one on a single smoke but it just arrived here. I wanted to give folks a heads up on it. It seems like it will be a good smoke. I need to give it more attention next time. I will take the guff on this one and not attribute it to the cigar.

Thanks for the heads up, Bob. I have been trying to find a Perdomo that gets my attention. I picked up the Corojo Robusto yesterday at my B&M and lit it tonight. I see it is made of all Cuban-seed. Very woody and pleasant, with a little spice in the middle, it has burned very well and drawn like a champ; I think I have found one I like. Good price, too..<5$.

I really enjoy the Habano but have found the Gordo and the Torpedo to have much more flavor than the Robusto or Toro. It goes great with Scotch. The Habano Maduro is also pretty good, I personaly liked it better than the Lot 23 maddie.

The Corojo Habano is one of my new favorite cigars for the money. I also have found the torpedo to be better than the Robusto, but I like them all:ss

The Perdomo habano didn't really do much for me when i smoked it. I don't know.....it was just kinda....................blah.
I'll take a Lot 23 Maduro any day of the week from Perdomo though. Now there's an experience.....IMHO.

I had one today and I have to agree. Typical Perdomo.
