Well, I'm running down the RP line that I have in stock. This one was hiding down in the bottom of my humi, all naked and large. Churchill size on this one. Thanks to DBall for this one.

It's a nice day outside, light breeze. Prefect for a smoke. It started like this.

The plate held a PB&J (ohh yea Peanut Butter Jelly TIME!). Home made Strawberry JAM!!!

I cut this thing as narrow as I possibly could. I've found the RP's a generally more loose than I like. This one was ok, but I think I would have perfered a V-Cut.

The ash looked darker and kinda loose, but it held well. Very little flake, didn't crumble. This picture makes the ash look lighter than it was.

The spice flitted around in this smoke. There was a good volume of smoke too. I was very satisfied with the amount.

Two main flavors on this was nut and leather. That stayed for the first 2/3s. I'm digging the light/med and nutties lately. So this was right in my current go to taste.

Like I said, a BEAUTIFUL day.

Two more draws and this beauty dropped.

A close up of that same ash.

After that ashed dropped the cone looked like this.

About the 2/3's mark I lost most of the nut flavor. It was picked up by some light sweetness, more than I was getting off the wrapper. So I had mainly leather with lighter sweet. Not bad.

Close up as I burned it closer to the band.

Well, right about the last 1/4 or so, it started to burn hot. I purged and gave it some time to rest. That helped. But after 2 more draws it was hot again. Again I got that same... I don't know how to describe it. Tar? Plastic? Something taste I don't like. I got 1 more draw after this picture. Called it a day.

Summary. Light/Med. Nutty and leathery. Dash of spice, pinch of sweet. Nice wrapper, decent contruction. I liked it. I'll smoke another, though I probably won't go buy more. I have 2 in the RP line I like now.

Nice review but I'm not as happy with the RP Conns as you are. I got that plastic taste throughout and at light up a strong chemical taste. These are yard 'gars for me. Not a big loss as the bundle was free with Fusion purchase...now there's a great cigar!

I had a Fusion the other day and it was terrible!

It was the first one I tried, so maybe it was just a fluke.

My next test smoke will be either a Fusion or a REO.

I used to smoke the connecticut 1999 pretty regularly but since expanding my horizons it has fallen quite a bit on my list. Not enough flavor or complexity for me. But not a bad smoke for the price.
