Finally Michigan posts a win - even it was against Notre Dam. Maybe that will put an end to the "Fire Carr - Hire Miles" story.

The "Fire Carr" blaze has been going strong for years now. Even if Michigan wins out, I doubt it will die down. Fact is, Lloyd changed his contract (and his assistants contracts) before the season in a way which would allow him to retire more comfortably after this season. I think he will, and I think Miles will be at the top of the hire list, AND I think Miles would jump at the opportunity to coach Michigan.

I'm from NC and have a lot of friends at App. State, and this whole state went crazy when they won. I was in class last weekend and the professor actually started the class by writing the final score on the board, and then referring back to it throughout the whole weekend (which was funny, because it was Survey of Theology 501!).
I heard last week that the #1 place in the country right now for sale of App state gear was Columbus, Ohio!

about time they where killing me this year. ND looks bad this year. So we will see in there next few games if they can keep it up.

Tis wonderful that Michigan won, it is more wonderful that Notre Dame lost. Lettuce all hopes that they can go a perfect 0-8…oops, did I say that out loud.
