Fire Toro Corojo
From looking at this cigar I could tell that it was very well constructed. The cigar had a nice Costa Rican wrapper which tightly bound the Rocky Patel blended tobacco inside. The wrapper had no visible blemishes or veins running through it. To the the touch it was nice and firm but springy at the same time.
The pre-light aroma was spicy yet sweet. The cap cut nicely and the pre-light draw was just right.
The cigar lit very easily and the spiciness came out right away. Along with this a very prominent leather/Earthy flavor came to the surface. This flavor persisted until the 3 inch ash decided to fall on my lap. After the ash fell the cigar started to burn unevenly for about an inch but it self corrected and burned evenly the rest of the way. At this point a very prominent cinnamon flavor made it self know which added at touch of sweetness to the predominant spice. The spiciness increased its intensity and made both my lips and tounge tingle. The flavor remained consistent through to the end of the cigar. By the end my mouth felt surprisingly fresh, almost like I had just bit into a new piece of Dentyne Ice gum. Although this cigar did not seem like it was overly strong, when I stood up I was left enjoyably lightheaded.
Overall I was quite happy with this smoking experience and can see myself picking up some more of these in the future especially at the price that they are currently going for. I definitely suggest this cigar to anyone who really likes spice in their cigar and for someone looking for a good/affordable everyday smoke.
