Although it's sad, I am surprised it hasn't happened earlier.
I am a Keith Jardin fan but love the sport. Here's the story.

2 deaths in over ten years, still trumps any of the other full contact sports (especially boxing)
Sorry to see it....
Ray "Boom, Boom" Mancini was effected for life after his fight. It also put an end to 15 round bouts.

I just realized that the title might have implied that MMA sanctioned the death and hope I was the only one that saw this. I am guessing people are smarter than that.
Just to clarify, it was the first death in a sanctioned MMA fight and is tragic.
