Size: 6" X 56
Appearance/Construction: A very handsome multi-colored dark brown, shiny wrapper with a couple of hefty veins running half to three quarters of the length. Firm, almost hard and heavy feel to it throughout.
Where: My patio 74 and 26% humidity with winds from the NNE at 16 mph. It's a beautiful day.
Drink: Diet Coke
Prelight Aroma: Tobacco on the length and from the foot it has a sweetness that reminds me of Beechnut or Redman chewing tobacco.
Prelight Draw/Taste: Nice clear but filtered draw and the taste is like the aroma.
Light: Ronson Jet Lite
First Impressions: Very good medium strength tobacco flavor with a nice aftertaste.
First third: Very nice rich and mild yet flavorful creamy tobacco taste. A hint of leather but more of a toasty and roasted nutty flavor. Each draw yields mouthfuls of tasty smoke.

Second third: About the same with a very mildly spicy addition to the profile. Like a very mild pepper taste. Still very tasty and a really nice aftertaste between draws. It's got me thinking this could very well become a go to smoke for me, I'm enjoying it that much.

Final third: If any change, only a slight increase in richness and the flavors already mentioned. The aftertaste or finish became even more nutty. Very smooth with no harshness what so ever. Tasty, tasty and did I mention tasty. During the last inch and a half it lost some of the hardness as is often the case, but was still firm enough to easily handle.
I ate about two and a half hours prior to lighting this up and am now starting to feel it, just a little, in my belly about three inches below my sternum. This is going to be another nubber.

Ash/Burn: Initially a pretty tight gray and white ash with small patches of tan. It held well to an inch to an inch and a quarter, which was pretty good considering the wind and my less than graceful touch.
Cost: $4.00 or $5.00 (I can't remember) a great stick at that price IMO. Wish I'd have picked up a few more.
Final Comments: While at the shop making my selection, Rob, the owner of Town & Country Cigar Warehouse and Taboo Cigars, and I discussed this particular shipment of the Special Forces. He seemed a little disappointed and said it didn't have as black a finish and lacked the oily shine and "kick" of the previous shipments, hence the "BC" (boot camp) addition to the name and the reduced price. He helped me find the darker two of the box and this one was the lightest of those two. Assuming the flavor profile would be similar just stronger with significantly more nic buzz, I will have to get some of the next shipment and re-evaluate this smoke. Either way, this stick was great by my standards. I'd give it a 10 and would recommend to all.
Burn Time: Lit at 2:50 PM and laid to rest at 4:30 PM 12/5/2007
