The city seems to go thru this every winter. Snow removal. Every year it's the same. Ask the locals for help getting the field ready for the upcoming game. Sure they get a little pay, but I believe most would do it for free. Love of the sport,team and the city. Just another form of tailgating for the Packer fan. This is true pride. Only in Green Bay.:tu

I didn't know about this. Heck I'd drive up to Green Bay just to do it! If they get paid thats just an added bonus

This was done before a couple of playoff games at the old Foxboro Stadium also. Great idea when the fanbase participates like this.

I did this when I was 8. It's the reason im a packers fan now. The players came out and shook hands. well a few of them did. Met a few, but thier names are lost on me i was too young. Its a blast, if not cold.
oh and im 22 now in case people were wondering :D

There are only a few teams that are as storied a franchise as the Packers. I am a die hard Steelers fan but one day I am going to see a game in that stadium. Something every NFL fan should do.

Man, I miss Lambeau...the tailgates are the best! And a winter game there is probably the only place where everyone pushes together (to stay warm)...usually, people don't want to touch their neighbor, let alone cozy up with them...
