Gifts From My Wife!

I came home today and my wife said she just had to give me part of my Christmas present (she was worried about letting it sit too long). She stays at home with our 14 mo. old so I was surprised to have any sort of gift because money has been tight without a second income, especially since I work for a home builder and we all know how bad the market has been of late. But never the less she said she had been stowing some cash away. I opened the bag to find:

-'The Showstopper Sampler' from Holt's
- A Blazer PB-207
- (2) AF 858 SG

She said she been looking at the Holt's catalog and knew that that sampler contained cigars I had talked about and she said she knew I had always envied my step-father's Blazer. Also this past weekend she had heard me mention the 858s and called around until she found some at a good price (one guy wanted $25 a stick! what a prick) and then drove to the store and had the guy bring them out to the car so she would not have to take my son out of the car seat and around all the smoke. She is priceless! :tu

I thought all the times I rambled on about cigars she wasn't listening but I was taken aback by the thought she put into these sticks. Here's a pic of the gift and one of the three of us at Thanksgiving (sorry my ugly mug is in it) I fell like a very blessed man! I see a great gift for her in the near future.

Awesome, not only for selecting such a fine gift, but for knowing that the cigars just couldn't sit under the tree unprotected till Christmas.

My wife called the owner of my local shop and made a deal with him for a cigar present for me. It will be held in the shop till Christmas and neither one of them will talk about the contents of the gift. Mrs. Ten only told me of the present to torture me until the 25th....

Don't want to feel jealous because my wife has been very supportive of my cigar hobby, but "called around" "drove to the store"....that is just incredible. Enjoy the cigars and the family because both look very nice indeed.

That's a good idea actually, I did purchase her gift last night, a purse and wallet she has been looking at for months, and she thought I paid no attention. And she's getting some other stuff too I've yet to pick up.
