For cleaning the bowls of your pipes... I mean! Either dipped in alcohol or dry, a fantastic piper smokers aid.

Café actually.......I just wanted to highlight the advantages of using cotton ear buds for bowl cleaning, dipped in alcohol or not, it's a bit like a mini salt treatment.....pipe cleaning treatment? I find it crucial.

Yep...I've used Cotton swabs , as their called in the states, with alcohol to clean out bowls...they work fine. :tu

Still a little confused about the "Lady's not ladies" comment though, went right "over my head"...oh well.

yes, i use q-tips for the bowls and shank when i clean my pipes.
but when i'm done smoking one, i use the pipe cleaner folded in half for the bowl (dry) before i put it away.

"Q-Tips"— Yep I use them dipped in alcohol. I find them especially useful for cleaning the shank. By removing a small amount of the cotton tip I can acquire just the right OD to match the shank ID for good & gentle scrubbing action. :tu

A little coffee never hurt anyone. :)

When the Q-tips are a ittle dried-out, they're even better.
