Estate Pipe Question

I just posted the pics of my christmas presents, some of which were estate pipes. Is there any special preparation to do? Cleaning? One was an Ebay purchase and the rest came from a dealer (Frenchy's).

Frenchy's wont need cleaning they'll be ready to go out the box. The ebay will need a thourgh cleaning
