Good Day from Sacramento California!

Hey All,
My name is Derek and been smoking cigars (1 per week) for less than a year now and absolutely love it. I'm in my final year at California State University Sacramento studying Economics and can't wait to graduate in May! I've been visiting these forums for many weeks now, and finally decided to join and enjoy the abundance of information on these forums from many knowledgeable people. My favorite cigar currently is a Padron 1964 Anniversary Exclusivo and the Cohiba Esplendidos and look forward to spending many countless hours on cigarbid trying to fill my new Humidor.
My older sister bought my first humidor for Christmas and i love it, although the patience required for seasoning is painfull lol. She also bought me a Zippo blue ligher, Xikar cutter, and a Diamond Crown Humidifier and some smokes for my new humidor.
I'll get some pictures of my new humidor after it's done seasoning in the next couple of days.

Yeah, i plan on making it out to the Herf on Jan 12th. Looks like fun, I've been looking through the Herf etiquette which is a huge help. Look forward to meeting everyone on the 12th.

Yeah basic cable comes with 25 city service stations, 10 college courses, and Good Day Sacramento... You can't beat that... Now you all know why I watch Good Day Sacramento... lol j/k... Yes we have teeeveee in Sacramento, just need to have a 35' antenna protruding from the rooftop. :D

Hey there, Casillas Cigars looks awesome from your pictures and story. I live on the eastern side of Sacramento near highway 50, I'm going to head out there in the next few days and see if i can't pick up a few to bring to the Herf on the 12 of Jan. They look delicious and I'm always up to try something new.

Yup, definitely a North Bay guy, I go to school and spend most of my time farther north in Sacramento, but frequentely visit Petaluma just north of San Francisco a few times a month.
Thanks to all for making this a warm welcome, and can't wait to share my experiences and stories with you all.
