I've been looking for an hour for the thread that has the cpu program that you can download that "inventories" your sticks. I know I saw a thread on this in the last couple weeks, but I can't find it anymore. Can anyone help a brother?

The program is Cigar Briefcase (http://www.vaagan.com/cigarbriefcase/). There you go!

i downloaded cigarbriefcase and really didn't like it. It's got and "old" look to it, like it was coded in 1988. I think using an excel spreadsheet is the best way to go, that way you can actually input the cost of each single/box and have an aggregate running total of how much you're spending per day/month/year/all time.

Yup...I have tried a few, and excel is the only one that I like. I keep hoping that eventually there will be one that works well....:tu

Might there be a MacOS variant that anyone could recommend (other than Excel, which is what I'm using presently)?

I tried both those programs and didn't like them so I went to the Excel spreadsheet also.

I like Cigar Briefcase. Excel is more work.

I use Quickbooks Pro (I use it for my business's) and it works great. I can enter cost, vendor, run reports on inventory and increase values as prices rise. I print a inventory sheet and when I smoke a stick write it down with a brief review and update every month or so. This allows me to see how a cigar progress's and should I die before my lovely bride she can print an inventory to sell my stock (she pointed this out to me and I'm now a little worried she might see Klug's thread about selling your husbands stock).

I don't recommend going out and buying this program but if you have it or acess to it I recommend giving it a try.
