I just bought a 5-pack of these sticks over on the devil site. I had one tonight, and was surprised. This stick impressed me!

I lit this bad boy with no pre-conceived expectations, just thinking it would be a run-of-the-mill smoke, trying to ignore anything I had heard about it to give it an honest review.

Good construction, and a nice oily wrapper. I'm also a fan of cigars with a larger ring gauge. This one is a 50 ring gauge. It had a VERY even burn throughout, a nice whitish ash that felt like it could have stayed on forever. It had a deep chocolate/nutty taste to it. I felt that the taste was pretty consistent until the final inch and a half, where it felt a lot more peppery. This stick also had a pleasant aroma to it. It is definitely a medium-full bodied cigar.

For the retail price, I know I could buy other sticks that I regularly enjoy. For the price of a 5-pack at the devil site, I would recommend buying some to try. I would also suggest having this smoke at night, and after a large meal. A good smoke!

I, too, was surprised on this cigar. I bought it on the recommendations of some here, and I was not disappointed. It was a pretty strong cigar, but not overpowering though. Of course, that's what I like. Nice review.

Just got done smoking one at lunch. A year ago this was my favorite cigar by far. Now it is still up there but I have to say I enjoy the Italia a bit more.

Funnymantrip, I was debating to get the italias or brazilias. What are the differences?

This is definitely one of my favorite smokes...and the Gol! is my favorite size. I often notice a little pepper when I first light, and as the reviewer stated, at the end.

I think that the flavor of the Brazilia line is a step superior to the Italia in taste...although I like both. The Brazilia is definitely more spicy, and in my opinion, a much more sturdy smoke altogether. The flavors of the Brazilia are much more pronounced. The Italia is a little milder and the flavors aren't as well defined, they seem a little muttled, to me, if that makes any sense at all.

Very nice review, by the way. Thank you for taking the time to post it.

The Gol leaves a wonderful aftertaste in your mouth even hours after you smoke. I've never experienced this with a cigar but last week when I had one it was great. Felt like the taste of the cigar lingered around a bit.

None of the Brazilia line have disappointed me.
I favor the Anaconda myself.

I love these smokes. The only beef I've ever had with them is they take so darned long to smoke. I've puffed on one of these for nearly 2 1/2 hours. I had to put it...regretably.

I have nothing but good things to say about this cigar. I was pleasantly surprised at how much flavor the cigar had without the nicotine buzz. What a great combination! I am also going to try some others in this line- maybe the piranah.

The Gol was my favorite in the Brazilia line for a long time. But then I started smoking the Piranhas and they have been my size of choice ever since. Same great taste in a smaller package. The Italias are great also and in those I smoke the Novella.

Never got to try the Gol, but the Ciao is a wonderful cigar. I had a Short Story at the bar, went and ate a ruben sandwich, then came home to this bad boy. What a wonderful night it was.

I picked up alot different tastes in the one I smoked last night. I didnt get any hints of nuts or coffee or anything like that...to me it was much like tastey spices with a note of citrus. Maybe it was just my taste buds last night.

I tried the Brazilia & Italia a couple of weeks ago. I have to say I was very suprised with the Brazilia. I think I will be back for a box of these bad boys. Full of flavor, none harsh and great construction.

While the Italia had great construction as well, the taste just did not do it for me. THough one cigar is usally not enough of a sample. I would try them again.

If you liked the Brazillia line, you should like the Torano Signature. Same brazillian maduro, same manufacturer. Mmmm mmm good! :w
