Anybody else love this movie?! Any movie where a guy gets killed by a carrot can't be bad! Great soundtrack too.

Saw this a couple of nights ago Jeff, I loved this movie!!!!
Funny how this is very similar to Sin City in style, and it's the same guy who's the main character in both of them.
Two thumbs up!

If you like non-stop action and guns, then you will love this movie. It's a fun movie to watch because it is so rediculous.:tu

Thought it was a bit silly... Death by Carrot. How many people died by carrot? 3 or 4? But hey, it had Monica Belluci and I'll watch any movie with her in it.
Reminded me of Ronin, but replace the cars with guns.
I also noticed the number of BMW flashes of bumpers, tires flashing, and the use of their cars and wondered if this was a longer version of one of the shorts hosted by BMW. I knew Clive Owen had been in one of those films as a driver. Makes me wonder.

I got it on Netflix this week. It was great!!! It is like an old John Woo movie. It was actually inspired by the Maternity Room shootout in Woo's Hard Boiled.
DQ, the Lactating Hooker is really hot too!!!

Now that's product placement!:hn I would doubt that it is a commercial of sorts, but I would be naive to think that BMW did not shell out some cash for their logo to appear as often as it does.

I can't remember where I read it (might have been an Entertainment Weekly interview with Mr. Owen about this movie), but I think it was put in as "tribute/homage" to the entire BMW films series he did do.
Though I am glad I did take advantage of when BMW films did give away a DVD with the shorts on it.. it's great fodder to show off to people and laugh.
Especially "Star". :tu

Its entertaining I'll give the film that, but I wouldn't go as far as "loved."

My friend and I were nearly three sheets to the wind when we saw this movie, we thought it cool and funny.
Our wives, who were stone cold sober, were not amused in the least.

I didn't like this movie at all. It was so over the top and corny, just not my bag.
