Drooling Dave. I'm sure you will enjoy that game. PSU plays Notre Dame next year in September. :) First time since PSU joined the Big 10.

Well one think is for syre the way ND is playing they can for sur edo the upset and Enjoy the game me I always go to the OU games and they are strugglin this year but the OU/Texas game should be a good one. Well any how Enjot the great game and potential blow out of USC hehehe hope so :D

I've got my 4 tickets to the NHRA Top-Fuel Drag Races. I'm going Friday/Saturday/Sunday. I'm sitting Front Row in the Super Seats, just behind the starting line, facing down the strip. Look for me on ESPN. I'll be the one smiling with the stogie in his mouth and a large beer in my hand! :w
The yearly spectacle starts on September 22 and runs though the 25th. I'll be deaf on the 26th when I play in our annual charity golf tournament. And I don't have to tell you people that this will undoubtedly be a 5-day drinking binge!!! :al

Droolies=something others might want to do .... top fuel? My God man, at least NASCAR turns left ..... top fuel doesn't even do that .....

Sorry....I didn't realize that pictures were necessary. Heck, I drool all the time over the cigars described on this site! :p I'll try to borrow a camera and take some pics. Please forgive my ignorance.
And Dave, , I've been to many NASCAR races, INDY car races, all kinds of motor sports....
And in my opinion, the NHRA blows them all away. The racing is from 7am to 8pm. Not just 2 or 3 hours, you see it, hear it, feel it, and even taste it. It is truly an assault on the senses. Top Fuel, Door-Slammers (pro stock), Funny Cars, Pro Stock Bikes, Nitro Harleys....you get the picture.
Of course, I still go to the other races, I just look forward to the NHRA a bit more. It's a great time for anyone. Everyone I've taken has commented on how much more fun it is than NASCAR. Maybe because everyone that goes gets a pit pass...it's kinda fun watching them tear down the entire engine/tranny in no time and then fire it up 5 feet in front of you!
Most people can only compare the extreme loudness of two top fuel dragsters leaving the line to the space shuttle taking off. I even find it louder than a jet fighter on take off. :confused:
But don't get me wrong...All racing is good...... :cool:
I love the smell of Nitro in the morning!!
