I wish I could be as optomistic as all of you here, but both of my teams took a shelling on Sunday. Arizona Cardinals got busted up by the Giants, and the Seahawks got beat down by the Jags. Looks like I might as well start looking forward to Basketball season now, haha. :D

Well fellas, tonight starts the REAL start of the REAL football season.. Yes, tonight is the Philadelphia Eagles vs the Atlanta Losers! Look for the final score to be 24-10 with the Eagles (the real bird) on top!! you heard it here first!

If Owens plays like he normally does then the eagles have a chance to score 24. If not, then I see the Eagles scoring 7 points.

The New York Football Giants put a beating on everybodys favorite sleeper pick this year. man it feels good to be back in football season, except the nonstop annual playoff talk from all the redskin fans who beat chicago by 2 pts

Go Giants

Yeah, thanks Duce! Those were my Cardinals! :D It'd be nice to be able to buy an NFL playoff ticket JUST ONCE in my lifetime (without having to travel to Boston or Philadelphia or Green Bay or Atlanta or Denver or wherever else...)!

Your day will come. Dennis Green is too good of a coach to be held back for long. You've got Warner now and I know he's sucked the last couple of years but he's pretty functional in Greens system. I don't think they'll be out of the playoffs this year. On the other hand the Giants looked good but now that Shockey's hurt they have bigger problems to deal with. I know he'll probably play the rest of the season but with the type of injury he has it'll linger all year. He's just not going to be the same.

I appreciate your optimism, Bruce! :D I guess after AZ's defensive performances last season, I was kinda shellshocked to see them get 42 dropped on them in the season opener. That shock will pass... :: sigh ::
But I think they've got a good team. We'll see about Warner - I just wish we had someone just a WEE bit more mobile than him - he's really never been that mobile, so he needs a heckuva line. On a brighter note, if we hadn't given up so many points on Sunday, we woulda won! :D
PS - Shockey's injury not only hurts the Giants, but also my fantasy team, hehe. Went out and nabbed Alex Smith (TE-TB) after I found out about Shockey's sprained ankle.

Well you must feel a bit differently today. I have McNabb, Owens and Akers on my fantasy team so I'm a big fan of the Eagles but for a different reason.

I'm not a true Philly fan but have so many of their players on my fantasy team I want to see them win. My true team is the Browns but I have a few years wait I'm afraid.

Eagles fans are in mourning :D . I think with Shockey the problem was he was healthy this year. A stupid move on his part late in a blowout game basically ruins his potential for the year. He really could be something special as far as players go. Unfortunately we won't see that this year.

Ok, tomorrow brings week two. My Brownies take on the Packers without Jevon Walker, who by the way I had on both of my fantasy teams.

Now, Green Bay looked pretty weak last Sunday but I'm sure ole Brett is pissed off and will come out throwing....but to who?

Cleveland it appears has decided to try it with Droughns and the one running back idea....gee what a concept.

Go Browns and I hope you all have good luck with your fantasy teams!
