figured i throw a short one up here-had this today out in the shed w/the heater kickin', sunday cartoons on the tube-it had been sitting in the humi for about 3 wks @ 63% to acclimate after the trip from holt's-pepin blended nicaraguan, corojo wrap-listed as full body, i think more med/full personally

1st inch was the typical pepin spice, leather in the backround-2nd 1/3 the spice mellowed, more leather & maybe a hint of black licorice?-stayed fairly consistant till the last 2 inches when the spice returned

as was white, not flaky but not rock hard either-burn was fairly even, a touch off but nothing i needed to correct-very thin black burn line, which seems to be a sign of tobac that ain't freshly rolled & shipped-the finsh was pretty short-flavor overall reminded me of the pepin blacks, just less pepper & not as in your face

would i buy these again?-well, i enjoyed the smoke, think a 5pk was $19 or so-i think they're worth the $, but i'm gonna hafta smoke a few more of the 5er b4 i decide if it's worth getting more

Scott, you can check them out at www.holt.com (http://www.holt.com) and look for Old Henry. They have 5er's here.

Thanks for the review Wharf. I'll get around to trying these one day. They appear right up my alley...:cb
