Last Summer, soon after I had taken up cigars, I bought my first box from C-Bid. It was a box of Archetypes. I like toros and had heard good things here. I smoked what I thought were all of them, enjoying the maduro goodness of each one, and moved on to other smokes.
Flash forward to today. I was moving stuff around in my cooler and I came across one of them at the bottom. So I hadn't smoked them all, after all. Well, I was gonna remedy that.
I just finished it. While I liked them before, I LOVED this one. It had mellowed some, but it still had the flavors that made me like them in the first place. I smoked it down to the nub and wished there was more. I'm not god with describing the different flavors, so I'll just say it was damn tasty! :-)
A few weeks ago, I bought another box that I put in my cooler. It's gonna take all the willpower I have to let them age and not start smoking them, but if age makes them like the one I had tonight, it'll be worth it. Good thing I got 2 'A's from billybarue with a year's age on them. I almost lit one up right after I finished the one I found. My advice to anyone who like maduros is buy some 'A's. You can get 'em for about $2 a stick on C-Bid. And let 'em sit for a while. You won't regret it.
