Has anyone tried the MAXX cigars by Alec Bradley? Any particular one you would recommend? Thanks!

The FREAK.

All of his sticks sell for $5.00 and they're a lot of smoke for the money. Not a bad deal at all.

Thanks, Bro! Are they mild, medium, full-bodied? Thanks!

I've seen these at my local shop, but haven't bothered to pick one up yet. Now I am curious... I might have to try one.

They are getting good reviews in the mag's. I had a prototype a year ago and I thought it was really tasty and complex. For the price, this might be something to jump on. :ss

I have smoked the 5 incher - can't remember the name of that size - and was very pleasantly surprised. Great flavor and tons of smoke. MikeyC's review is right on with my thoughts (except his are expressed coherently in an easy to read format) :D

No problem! I hope to write more reviews when I have a chance to smoke some cigars that haven't already been reviewed to death.

Here is what makes cigar smoking such an interesting hobby; I had the exact opposite reaction. I smoked several different sizes I got in a sampler and I fought them all to be too mild for my taste and very one dimensional. :2

That is very different. Mild is definitely not a word I would ever use to describe these cigars.

Halfway through the Maxx torp, almost flavorless. Got it in a pass, so I dont know what conditions it has had. Construction is good, just not a whole lot there, but I will keep smoking it to see if it changes.
