I got a chance to smoke this great cigar last week and just had to spread the word. I know Illusione already is becoming well known on these boards as well as others, but I wanted to throw in my two cents.

I am a huge fan of the Tatuaje Havana VI Angeles, and always hold other cigars up to that. And let me say that this one stands up tall. The great thing about this cigar is that the flavors that Illusione are known for hit you right at the start of this smoke.

Very peppery yet very tasty. As the pic above describes peppery and earthy. I also seemed to get some hints of dark chocolate. Needless to say after having just one, I bought a whole box.

This is one you have to try if you can find em. They are a little hard to come by, but be persistent, you'll be glad you were.

Thanks for reviewing the ~68~!!! :tu

Now I want to try that one. I love the ~88~ and my wife is trying to get me the sampler, but like you said - hard to come by.

They are out of stock right now (click (http://superiorcigars.com/db/Illusione/))... I found this cigar good & it carried over a similar flavor profile from the 88. Nice smoke to have around if you want something flavorful in a small format. My favorite from the line is probably the f9 because (to my tastes) the leather & woodiness is more balanced. YMMV :ss

I am really interested in the CG4 size as well, but haven't gotten a chance to pick up any while they were in stock at my B&M.

I just had the opportunity to fire up the Illusione 68 this afternoon as I worked on cleaning up the garage. (This cigar was one of my "takes" from the recent Golf pass.) I found it to be an excellent short smoke. Not as peppery as a Pepin stick, but lots of flavor nonetheless. And this little beauty gave off such a great aroma with thick clouds of white smoke. For those that have had the 88, I think you'll be able to easily tell the two are related. The 68 is just a tad milder than the 88; I'm calling it the upper end of medium with similar flavor to the 88. Overall the Illusione 68 was a nice smoke and one that I would spark up again without hesitation.

Agreed. These are awesome little smokes and have a great oily sheen to em. I picked up a box of these a few weeks ago. :tu

When we visited FUMARE in Reno a few weeks ago they stated they would mail order cigars anywhere, though they don't have a website set up for orders, only info.

One would have to give a call or e mail.

IF You do order some, post the prices would ya??
