no harm done lol. but i'm just wondering whens the last time the cowboys been close to the superbowl, and how many years in a row are they going to be picked as a preseason sleeper. dont forget before the cowboys early 90's run the giants owned the late 80's. should have won 3 superbowls but the 88 season was played with replacements causing the favored giants to miss the playoffs. but honestly if the cowboys find a QB for the future they dont look bad. thier defensive rookies are going to be a terror on Qb's years to come. It looks like were on the come up while the deadskins look like they shoud be rebuilding for the next couple of years.

lol seems kind of opposite from the last game bad 1st half great 2nd half. When it comes to Eli I'm not sure either if he has what it takes to lead us from behind to a victory but compared to alot of other High expectation QB's (Ramsey, Boller, Carr, Harrington) hes not half bad. I was not on board with the switch at the time. But for the record, I was never on board with mortgaging every pick in the draft for the unproven Eli Manning either. I thought Warner still had some stuff left if only the G-Men had ANY kind of O-Line to give him some protection. Now granted, he is a shadow of his former self but better the shadow of a SuperBowl MVP than a rookie who nearly got his head taken off.

Still and all, the future looks promising. Nothing like the Eagles' future but we'll get there eventually.

He is too busy worring about his soup and arms"guns",not to mention he chokes like a cat hacking furr balls. Philly has a better chance of winning the bowl with Jaws. Since you site 86 as late 90's i will site 85 too. 1984-85 SF won 38-16 over the Dolphins; 1988-89 SF won 20-16 over the Bengals; 1989-90 SF won 55-10 over the Broncos. Can't blame the 88 strike season on Giants not winning cause every team was affected by this. So PROVE they were the best team of the late 80's ,cant't because SF was. Believe me I hate the 49ers, but you cant deny that they were the team of the late 80's. Just like you can't deny that the Cowboys were the team of the early 90's. All in all both Cowboys and SF have the most Superbowl wins 5 each, although the boys have been to more Superbowls than any other team. in 40 years the Cowboys have 27 winning seasons and 20 consecutive winning seasons (a record held by them and SF together).Giants cant compete with that. Oh and the giants won the 91 supersbowl not the 90. Eli only started 8 games so far. give him full 16 under his belt and i think he'll be up in the elite class off QB's. Just to think were going to have our QB position stable for the next 12 yrs puts a smile on my face.

Yes Emmitt is the Greatest RB of all time IMO. Who has more yards? Who has more rushing TD's? with all respect to 3 close behind (Walter,Barry, and Jim Brown) I really think he is the best his records and longevity prove it. :2
But i will say if i had to pick any RB ever on my fantasy team it would be Jim Brown cause there will never be another that good. Remeber Duce I am a biased cowboys fan :r

Emmit has the record even with the crack smoking. So therefore he is by default the record holder. Could Barry have blown Emmitts shot? You bet, But that will not happen nor will it ever happen. I'm sure someone will come along eventually to break his record. It may even be a back in the league now. But that's for the future. For now as a Redskins fan I've learned to accept the fact that Emmitt has the record therefore he's the best statistically. End of discussion (for me at least) so THERE are ya happy now?
