I should add to my original post that I've been going here for almost two years now and they're all pretty helpful.
They've got a huge Humi, with a nice selection.

Do they have an official opening for their St. Paul Store yet?

Haven't been to the GL in years but had a great knowledgeable staff last time I spent time there. Used to know a lot about pipes and pipe tobacco particularly.

Great place, huge selection, friendly staff.
Went there last winter and they had live blues. What more could you ask for?
Anyone who has been there have a good suggestion for parking? I ended up parking like 8 blocks away and walking, but it would be nice to get closer, particularly when I am just stopping in quick.

on the weekend - you might want to try the ramp @ calhoon square, I think they don't have anyone manning the ramps booth, so it's free

Yeah, I park at Calhoun Square too. Less hassle than finding a spot on the street, and I pick up a coffee from Starbucks on the way through.
If you're into old books, the Magers & Quinn book store on the same block is amazing.
