I just read in some reviews at Tobaccoreview.com that Dunhill is no longer offering their houseblends as of this year.

Does this mean I'll never get to try Croatan's beloved #10???

So sad that they would do this...

I hadn't heard that and will be really upset if that is the case.

read the third review down by Stan, I also saw it mentioned in a couple of other reviews of their blends.

Sadness for all indeed.

Wow, after a bit of research on pipes.org it appears as though Murray's in Ireland (the outfit that has been blending Dunhill tobacco for a number of years) has been sold and will no longer continue to produce for the Dunhill line. The standard Dunhill mass-market mixtures will still be available (blended by another house) but we'll lose all of the Jermyn street blends, including my absolute favorite. According to a letter Dunhill sent to its customers, the Jermyn Street store will cease to carry any pipe tobacco at all. I know that the Dunhill tobaccos are owned by British American Tobacco, but what the hell has the world come to when you can't even buy Dunhill tobacco at the Dunhill store.

I am absolutely stunned by this and am now going to leave work and smoke a cigar to relieve my tension.

If there is anyone in London who would be willing to pick me up some #10, I would do my best to make it worth your while as well as be eternally grateful :)
