Let's make a Cigar Poem...

I am working and really want to stop, so I decided to see if I can get people to help me amuse myself while I work!

So, I will start with one line to the poem, let's try to keep each verse to 4 lines and see how far we can get... or, you can just roll your eyes and click off somewhere else!!

here goes...

Our tribute to a much loved leaf...

Young, stupid, unaware of the slope
I sit on my deck everyday and smoke
Day after day the boxes come in
Haunting cbid to see if I win

Four humis full and another on its way
From the doghouse is where I begin my day
Wetting beads and checking for bugs
from the wife not a smile, a word, or even a hug?

Hundreds of hours puffing away
Not even asking the wife about her day
Maybe starting this hobby was a poor life course
I'll think about it as I smoke my PAM
and prepare for my divorce.

2 hour commute in my coworkers car
I get home to my humi and grab me a gar

What this? A Hole? I begin to feel sick
I see a little critter enjoying my stick

Instead of killing him I capture the beast
Fat dumb and happy from his Davidoff feast

I examine the rest and find another
Not quite grown, it must be his brother

Not freezing my sticks, i feel like a fool
then I think of something really cool

I won't kill these horrible things
I'll keep them in a tube and see what it brings

I feed them my dog rockets and watch them grow
And post pictures on CS so everyone will know

I scare the jungle and all that will see
but nobody knows what they mean to me

A few good sticks were lost in the end
But please let me introduce you to my only two friends

I begin the tests
And gather my gear
Its all on the kitchen table

It starts out fine
Everything is set
Each batch moist
My goals have been met

I watch all the readouts
As precise as I can be
The results are then posted
For all of CS to see

Everything worked out great
It fell in to place
The only data not recorded
What the look on my cats face

What I forgot to mention
Was where I got the litter
My cats been holding it for 3 days
And seems a bit bitter
