Don't knock the natty lites so much. It's what we buy at the lake and beach when the kids are around. We can't afford supply them and all their friends with the good stuff and its drinkable on a hot day.

I got a minor consumption charge when I was 20. I had about 5oz worth of Glenlivet 12 and the party I was at got busted because the music was too loud for the neighbor at 7pm in the evening. I paid a $225 fine, and paid $60 for an 8 hour drug and alcohol avoidance course. It's not on my record at all.

Good point! I think we discussed the legal age to drink in another thread-so I'll only say this. My daughter got an MIP last year at college and we were legal age in high school. Something is wrong in both situations. I was to young to buy beer in high school and she is to old not to be legal in college.

I didnt get an MIP but I got taken home by a cop who was a friend of the family at a party in highschool. My dad Asked for my keys, Didnt have a car for 4 weeks, had to take the bus(humilating for a senior) Had to paint the house, and my dad generaly beat my ass. Thank god the cop was family friend and he didnt get mad that i was drinking but that i thought it would be a good idea to run....dipshit...

Got popped at 15. The local mom and pop store that sold to us minors got busted with us. Not only did I get fined and have to bite the bullet at home, everyone in high school hated me and my buddies for closing down the watering hole. Learned my lesson...be more stealthy.

I have an even more messed up story. I got an MIP (minor in possesion) 2 years ago at Mardi Gras. If you haven't been put it this way, it is a drunk party for a week in New Orleans. So I have 2 Hand Grenades, a drink from Tropical Isle Bar on Bourbon Street. Why I had 2 I'm not really sure. Well this ABC chick ask for my ID blah blah blah wrote the ticket. While she is writing me the ticket she says you can finish those while I write this up. Are you kidding me? Your going to give me a ticket for it but let me keep drinking while you write the ticket. I started laughing and the chug war was on. Hypocrites, make up your mind!
