Two pieces of advice:

2) Don't drink and drive (or get into a car with someone who is about to)

i think i had my first opus for my prom event.
Hope you have a killer time! Drive safe, and watch out for those drunk f***s!!!!1
All of our instructors told us time and time again, have fun, but if you guys are going to drink it up, i encourage you to do so in a safe place, after the prom ends.
Then STAY PUT! Alot of stupid stuff goes on when highschool kids are just leaving the school in a pack haha :tu

My advice: don't skip out on MMHI and go to prom. 3rd worst decision of life was prom  That's 48 hrs I'll never get back and could have been spent in the company of my good BOTLs.

Hm. My senior prom is coming up and I don't think I'm going. The whole thing's too much of a hassle - trying to find a way to avoid all the hazards of prom while still trying to have fun is more trouble than I'm willing to go through, honestly.

I'll probably attend a party this girl invited me to though. I'll probably still need to follow the rules pnoon and mikeyj laid down though:ss

What were the worst two?

I had a great time at my Senior Prom, only had part was my class voted Dan Fogelberg's "Longer" as Prom Theme. :pu

Prom sucked....

I had no intention of going but a really good friend of mine asked me if I would do him a favor and take his little sister (who was in my class) to the prom...I hate the fact that I said yes. She would not stop talking....

Should have asked her what color condom she preferred...that might have shut her up. ;)

Never went to Prom, am I upset by that decision? Not at all :tu

Seemed to be a good waste of a couple hundred bucks to my friends that did go. I don't think I'll ever regret not going. But hey, to each his own. Have fun Argo

I went to several friends' proms. My Sophomore year in College, Ang asked me to go with her in a duct tape tux. Duck Tape brand holds the Stuck At The Prom contest yearly and her bf didn't have the guts...so I said, sure...why the hell not?

Prom is pretty cool. To Savvy's comment, I share this story.

My best friend said he had a friend who needed a date. I agreed to meet her.

Ended up liking this girl, and stuff kinda developed into a relationship. We then went to prom. Continued to date after prom... went off to college soon after.

That was the Fall of 2003. We're now engaged :)

I just had my prom a couple years ago --
My advice, go. Even if you hate it to death, its something you probably wont forget, but yeah, i don't drink (except on occasion) and i'm not a super-social butterfly, but i got to a party afterward, had fun with some people i might never see again, nix reunions etc, and i'm still dating the girl i went with.
Soak it up bro - theres only one prom.

Have fun, and be safe. I never went to prom or any of those type functions. They were just another reason to go find a sandbar somewhere and drink until a)We ran out of booze or b)we forgot where we left the booze or c) the sun came up. http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/eatdrink007.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)

( I don't condone getting plastered out of your gourd, but at the time it was fun. These days now that I'm older....Not so much, but I still wouldn't go to prom. :r )

No, now I remember the worst two. I won't discuss them though ;) They have to with a girl I should I have dated and a girl I shouldn't have dated lol.
