...I think I could save about 45 seconds per day. That 45 seconds per day adds up to 4.5 hours per year. 4.5 hours per year is about 3 naps and I could use a nap right now. If only my sock drawer was more organized....

I think they do go somewhere. I'm always missing one or another. I think they have a time share in Boca or something.

If you're sock drawer is anything like mine, it's going to take about 4.5 hours to organize anyway, so you just wasted a nap.

It would take more time to keep your sockdrawer organized than it would save you in the end. Even if it did really save you 45 seconds a day that means it would take you ten days to get 7.5 minutes which only accounts for about 1/8th of a decent nap. So by organizing your socks you will technically have saved enough spare seconds to have a good nap once every 80 days. I say the real solution lies in getting out of bed 45 seconds early every morning.

In my case, I have a wife who does a very nice job of organizing my sock drawer for me. Looks like something out of of a movie.
Life is good.
I have those 45 seconds to myself.

I have a drawer of socks (which brought me some Cohibos from their vaca btw), nothing else is in the drawer. Therefore, I'm organized happy and am even more happy when socks in there come dressing time in the dark in the morning. I save my 45 seconds by having all one color socks, white. I wear alot of cowboy boots. :ss

It's a conspiracy led by the head sock in each drawer. If you organize them, the lead sock will tell all other socks to return to a state of chaos. Damn conspiracy theories. I hate evil socks.
