Interesting quote...
"People know where I live," he said. "I've already had death threats."
If you receive one.. maybe you blow it off.... if you are a bad guy and stupid enough to ignore more than one, perhaps many death threats, the steroids have rotted your own common sense away....... I would probably move.. get the hell out of Dodge.

He evidently named names on May 21?
The dude sold TONS of illegal drugs in a network and got a plea bargain for probation and cooperation, if I read it right. Bad guys getting off the hook for crimes makes me nauseous. He didn't deserve to get shot, or his GF, but I think he should have been naming names in jail.

Wait... anabolic steroids are illegal? I assume the narcotics officers busting him were busting him for a reason, and whether they were crooked or not... well, I think the source biased, and must be taken with a grain of salt. There are crooked and bad cops out there, yes, but some skepticism overall about all things, especially statements or testimony from a sleazebag is something to keep in mind.

Or I'm talking out my rear again...

Yeah, most likely.

Well, the names he named seemed from the article to be limited to NFL players, so I don't know if the implication is that NFL players were involved in his death or not, but to me that's a little hard to believe.

Not saying they are saints, just saying it's a little hard to believe. From the little info given in the article it's just as possible it was a murder-suicide.

Hey now :bx

This whole thing just exudes foul play. I do know he said something about there are people out there that wouldn't hesitate to put a bullet in his head. :hn

He knew before he made a deal to name NFL players that there were individuals that would put a bullet in his head.

What is really sad is his girlfriend was murdered.

I guess they still haven't ruled out murder/suicide

The ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3427526&campaign=rss&source=NFLHeadlines)article I read stated it was a homicide investigation. We'll see,

Looks like this has turned into a murder/suicide, although they have made no ruling on the woman yet.

All I could think about when I heard the news was the old syaing... "Dead men tell no tales." Yeah, I would have gotten out of Dodge.

WOW! I wonder which NFL players were involved in this. Players? Coaches? Owners? Seems like someone didn't want him to talk. Obviously, his girlfriend also knew details of his clients.
