Located in the historic Menger Hotel, accross from the Alamo, this bar has operated since 1887; Teddy Roosevelt once recruited for the Rough Riders there and the interior hasn't changed much since; the hotel has a well stocked cigar store; I love this friendly place with its clubby, blokey atmosphere, reminds me a lot of Harry's Bar in Paris before the French smoking ban went into effect.
