HOLY SH*T. That's the first thing I said after I cut this cigar. I put it to my mouth and tried the draw. PERFECT. I gave 2 of them to my buds and they both said the same thing. After lighting, it tasted very toasty and woodsy, with a little bit of a chocolate flavor to it. The finish was great.. just a whole lot of cedar and hickory. Very little aftertaste. The next morning, I didn't wake up with cigar breath (never experienced this with any other cigar besides macanudo). I would be honored to call the Padron 2000 my first purchased box of cigars. I guess I have to get up to Holt's in philly and get a box. They were selling them for $3.15 a stick.

I checked "www.cheapcigars.com" and the site is Mom's Cigar of New York. Is this the same as lbss?

dvickery,

Thanks for the tip. Best prices I've seen on Avo, Cohina Red Dot, Montesino, Padron and Savinelli ELR's. Among the best for Puros Indios, Griffin Maduros, Hoyo Excals, LGC, and Punch Gran Cru. Par for Punch and Macanudo regular line, but pretty sharp on the Mac Vintage 1993 line.

How has the service been?

Well, we'll see about this place. Certainly the lowest price I've seen on a box of 2k's-- even with the $5 shipping fee. Let's just see how things work out.. I also ordered 2 La Diva robusto's (my favorite cognac cigars that are no longer being made). I will keep everyone posted. Now, I need to get my butt out to a florist's and get myself a humidification oasis fast... at least until I can afford to buy a habitat monitor. By the way, thank you very much for the tip on this store!

Derrek,

I agree with you on all accounts - Padron 2000 & LBSS! The prices & availability are great. Also, I purchased some cigars on-site while visiting that state. They were very helpful and it truly is a LBSS! Well worth the drive - for me anyways!
