Have been reading some reviews about MM's.
Now I want to read it from the "real" people of this forum.
Thanks.

Top25Cigar reviewed the Magic Mountain a couple months ago. The review is still posted at the web site in the "Staff Reviews" area.

olateone,

Check out these previous posts:

"New cigar smoker and selecting cigars" and
"Most over rated cigars....any opinions?"
And as pds said, check out the staff reviews in T25C.

(Tip: Use the search function in the lobby to look for keywords in previous posts)

I have had the De Gaulle(a 50 guage robusto) and I would consider this to be an excellent cigar. Oily, packed with flavor, easy draw, smooth burn and all at a great price. Definitely one of my favorites. Enjoy!

medes,

Thanks for the comment. I wondered about that size since all I've heard about is the Magic Mountain.

Welcome to Club Stogie. We're glad your here.

Maria Mancini is 1 of my 4 fav brands.
I smoke the Torpedo Habana 2000, and the
Robusto Larga Maduros. They are awesome,
I have 150 Maria Mancinis in my humidor
to prove it. Give them a shot!

CyberCigarSmoker,

What is the taste difference between the H2000 wrapper and the maduros?

Olateone,

MMs are close to the "real deal." I like the MM H2000, but have not tried the maduro - yet. The only problem that has surfaced for me with the MMs is re-lighting. Too much re-lighting on my last batch of MMs (Magic Mountains.)

Having said this, I still like La Escepcions better, though in fairness, La Escepsions are more expensive.
