I am hoping that this is the correct forum to post this because I want everyone to know just how good one of my Secret Santa Cigars was this weekend.

My wife and I left the kids at home this weekend and went off for a little R&R down in the countryside. I took with my a MC No. 5 (see Havana review) and the A.Fuente Don Carlos No.2 with me to enjoy after some great food.

On the first night we had eaten an excellent three course meal with some heavy red wine before moving into the 'sitting room' to enjoy some port and cigars. I had been looking forward to this cigar every since I received it as I had never come across these over here in London.

It certainly looked the part. Large, dark with a perfectly smooth wrapper - it was just longing to be smoked. Once lit I was amazed at how easily I could draw a really good mouthful of thick smoke. Being spoilt with ISOM smokes, I was used to there being a little resistance, but this stick was just perfect. The taste was smooth, all the way down to the last third and I enjoyed this one for a good 45 minutes and two large ports!

The ash was perfectly white / grey all the way down and the burn was just perfect.

My first experience with this marque was an excellent one - thank you Secret Santa!
