Cost: $7.45
Rating: 3.5/5
Desc: Hyped as a "symphony" of taste, this cigar does not live up to the advertising. Not worth the money- you're basically paying for the glass tube and the 2 fancy bands. On taste alone, though-- it starts out tasting like hay and cedar (too much cedar). The maduro wrapper adds a sweetness that overpowers any other parts of the "symphony" that may be hiding. The middle of the cigar is pretty woodsy. It finishes with cocoa/chocolate with coffee mixed in. Superb construction, gray ash. This cigar was not enjoyable; too much freakin' hay-taste. You could probably get the same effect if you were smoking another cigar in a horse stable.

apostle23,

Good review. Be sure not to hold anything back next time. LOL I have smoked the Carlos Torano Dominican and Nicaraguan selection lines. I didn't like the Dominican line. The Nicaraguan line was ok, but I've haven't smoked another since. The cigars in both lines felt light in my hand and the draw was way too easy on both.

I haven't tried the Reserva Selecta.

I have one of these sitting in my tupperdor that I bought about 3 months ago. Will post my review when I get around to smoking it.

LOL Don't worry, you can expect to get uncensored reviews from me-- that's exactly how I wrote it up in my "Cigar Bible".
I'm definitely interested to hear what others think of it.
Apostle.
