I just got one of these Stinky ash trays. Not that they Stink, its just there name.
It works great! Nice and deep, strong. A friends 2 year old played with it for hours, tossing it around, using it for a hat (this was before it had been used) and it suffered no damage. And it arrived so quickly!! I am sure it was only 2 days from order to arrival.
Pity my humidor and other things are taking longer  my first one is really at breaking point now!

If JR isn't local for you let me plug Uncle Mikey /Mr Bundles. He has great prices and takes care of Club Stogie.. Be sure to join his email distribution for further discounts.

$ 20.00 each. Thought it was a good price.

Those things look efficient and also like one could be made with a large stainless bowl, some flattened coins or half-tubes of stainless, and a soldering iron. I'm sure someone out there has tried that; who was it and how did it work?

You read my mind! When the weather breaks, I plan to pull out the stick-welder, some 3/16" rod, and go to it!

20 bucks for the Stinky is pretty good! But I figure I have enough odds and ends back in the barn to make a few decent knock-offs!

Nice pic. I love mine from RJT. However mine doesn't have the logo on the side. The logos are on the stogie ledges.

Has anybody seen a stand for these things that is not the goofy looking one (IMO) that is sold on the Stinky site?

I just recieved 2 from Bargain Humidors this week and they are sold out again. $13.99 each was a steal.

:tpd:
I've got a small patio set that gets pretty crowded with the BIG ashtray and my laptop (and sometimes my wives laptop too). I would also like a stand, but the one on Stinky's site is a bit overstyled for my taste.

The ashtray is AWESOME, as everyone else has said!

Thanks for the tip, I will get one of these, I hope they ship to Canada, because they don't have them here.

I got mine yesterday and think it is a great ashtray for my purposes. I smoke outisde on the deck and found that the ashes would get blown away at times by a breeze because most ashtrays are simply to shallow. Stinky's does away with this problem. Also the stirrups allows for one to easily rest their smokes without worrying that they will roll off or into the ashtray. Simple and functional.

I got my Stinky yesterday-it is a four seater and it doesn' have the logo on the side. I think I can build a stand for it-shouldn't be too hard. I will post pictures when I do-it will be some time after the remodel-in October!

Got a couple. Gave one to Sam. Use it weekly in the smoking cave. They work great. Once in a while I drop a short one into the ashes... but that happens with any ashtray.

Sure the cigars show up now he's a smartash. :D No it happens when the cigars you smoke are so sublime that they affect your central nervous system in exotic ways. (Return fire smartash comment. :) )

Nice Thread, guys. Thanks for the nice comments. It's really a simple application of design for an ashtray. I'd love to discuss it over a cigar next time you're in Las Vegas.

And for you guys who are interested in making your own... send me an e-mail. I'd love to see YOUR version. I use the "Cigar Stirrups" as give away's at the RTDA and NATO. If you're really serious, I'll send you a few. Let's see what you come up with! BUT... you MUST promise to send me a series of photos of your Stinky Knock Off! :)

Please Note: The model with the Stinky Logo on the side is the "Commerative" Stinky Cigar Ashtray. It is only available from certain retailers (like Uncle Mikey) or when you order directly from my web site. Nice pictures!

What do you guys think of the Stinky Floor Stand?

See you in LV. Send your travel plans if you're planning a trip. I'd be glad to get out and meet for a cigar if you don't mind hangin with me . . . I'm Stinky!

I just picked one up over the weekend. To be honest, I had my doubts about it. Seemed like the stirrups for the cigars would be too small. Just didn't seem to work. Saw the Stinky in person at a new B&M and picked it up. My buddy & I smoked some `64 Padrons and put the stinky to use. Works just like advertised! Kinda breezy, but no ashes flying around. The stirrups were the perfect size. When we were done with the smokes, just dropped them in the bowl & forgot about them. Great product! Consider me another converted user!

I've had mine for a while no logo on the side.

But i must say it holds up to the weather and has become my one and only ashtray my others just migrated to the garage closet

Just well thought out by real smokers

Just rolled out my Stinky and it truly is a wonderful ashtray...best I have ever had. It had for me the addtional benefit of slowing down my smoking...not having to hold the cigar the entire time sort of took my mind off of it. At any rate, I noticed additional nuances my my Party Short that came in from me not over heating the tobacco.

Great product Stinky!

hmm. looks nice, id fill the bottom with something decorative 1/3rd the way up. maybe some tank gravel for fishes. think that might look better over time instead of ash at the bottom, might also help filter the ash down so you wont need to clean it often, actualy that way you could shake the ashtry and sift all the ash to the bottom. no need to clean for a while

Cleaning these ashtrays is way too easy. Just wipe it out with a paper towel and your done. Clean as brand new.

Yea same effect for me. If I am holding the cigar I really have to fight the urge to puff. Stinky has helped me slow down since I can put it down and know that it is in good hands. I have left finished nubs on the stirups only to find them still there a few days later. Great product
