I purchased an Aristocrat "M" cabinet humidor http://www.aristocrathumidors.com/ several months ago after following the advice of many different board members here at CS. I was NOT originally planning on spending the $1300 or so on a humidor or getting one as large as I did (38"Wx17"Dx36"H). I was told to always get a size larger than what I though I needed. As you can see I should have purchased something 4 times the size of what I thought I needed!
I can honestly say the Aristocrat M is the best humidor I have ever owned. It is very well made, the workmanship is beautiful, it has an excellent seal, and even as full as mine is it keeps perfect humidity. The dual fan and "set and forget" humidifiction system works very well and only requires filling about once every month. Alarms alert you when the temperature or humidity varies or water runs low. The Aristocrat takes about 6 weeks to make as each is hand made by hand, no cheap wood / part are used in the construction. All in all $1300 for the storage of 50-60 boxes of cigars and 300 singles is relatively inexpensive compared the price of some desktop humidors!
I highly recommend an Aristocrat to anyone who needs storage for multiple boxes of cigars. Proper storage is essential! It seems a lot of people are willing to spend thousands on cigars and very little on storing them correctly. A good humidor is something you only have to buy once! Or in my case maybe twice.. because I keep buying too many boxes of cigars!! :D

You stole my humi !!!!!

LOL

I have the same exact one. I bought it almost two years ago and have never had a problem. Bob was awesome when going through the building stages and stayed in great contact until delivery. Humi took about 15 mins to set up and two days to season and it has been at 65/65 ever since then.

Perfect !!! You made the best choice ever,IMHO.

You may wanna call him and have him send you six filters for the set and forget system. This way here you have them. They probably will need to be replaced every 4-6 months or so. I think they were $30.00 for six delivered.

Bob is definatley the man. You have the best humi ever there. Congrats.

I love to hear about how great the Aristocrat Humidors are since I ordered one (mini-dx) a month ago. I wanted the "M" but it was too large for where I wanted to put it. I didn't know about the filters..why do they need changing when using pure distilled water?

BTW NICE Cabi/sticks!

i almost upgraded mine to an "M", but it was too wide for where i wanted it. come to think of it, it has roughly the same storage space, as mine is a lot deeper (just not nearly as wide). and, when i told bob of how wide my space was, it would've cost a little more to make it smaller, due to building the frame from scratch (they make everything by hand, but have set sizes).

anyway, i have an aristocrat plus, which i never took a photo of after i got it and was initially setting it up.

i would like to add that my digital "set and forget" only needed to be filled very 3 months or more. in the time i had it, i only filled it two times after initial set up.

anyway, excellent humidors, great prices, they're beautiful, and mine is for sale if you live in the KC area, for only 1,100.

Hopefully you won't have my problem of needing a larger one because you buy too many cigars!!!
I have noticed that the filters pick up the tobacco fumes and turn a brownish color. As a result the humidified air circulating would not be as "pure" so it is necessary to replace the filters every once and a while. It is also possible for them to get mold on them as they are sitting in dark water for months at a time..although this has not happened to me!

Wow, some very nice sticks in that very nice humi.

This makes me HAPPY!!!

I ordered my M last week, and I am itching for it, like nobodies business. I am scared to think of filling the cabinet, but I'm sure it is an excepted end result.

What is the realistic compacity of the top drawer, I assume the 200-300 ct. is high?

I went with a few add-ons, which ran the price up a bit from the base, but I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

No, I think 300 in the top drawer is no problem...If you look at the Arturo Fuente's in the top drawer there is almost a box of 25 in that one section and it isn't full! There are 8 sections (movable) so 8x25=200 if full probably 300 maybe more if you're putting smaller cigars in there!

That is ONE MAGNIFICENT CABINET!!!!

Phew!!! I'm running on 3 coolers and a tabletop... Thinking that MAYBE (just maybe) this summer will be the time to switch to a "big boy" storage device!!!

My next one if I can convince the wife to allow me to sell my regular Aristocrat instead of using the money for the house.
Go figure. Wives. Always trying to be sensible.
