How's this for a strange topic.......
My favorite movie that nobody else has ever seen is "Until the End of the World" with William Hurt.
This flick is blessed with one great soundtrack, worth a listen to....
The Shark Hunter..
About a huge prehistoric shark, and that's about it.
This is a classic B movie, I was bored and needed a 3rd video to get the blockbuster deal. I should have ate the extra money!

Another strange (and kinda disturbing) movie I liked was a DVD not readily available in the USA. Its a japanese film w/subtitles called "Battle Royale".

"Brewster McCloud" was a real trip to be sure. For some reason I love that movie. It's dated but worth a rental.
Also, if you have the stomach for it, check out some Dario Argento flix. They are "grotesquely wonderful". My favorite was "Suspiria" and also "Bird with the Crystal Plumage".

Yes, one of my favorites. Have yet to find it on DVD. Probably haven't looked hard enough. Been ages since I've seen that one.

drc,
It is available from VCI on DVD but I have yet to see the transfer. It is reviewed to be "not bad" so that's pretty good for a non-major release company. I do know that someone has released a Dario Argento collection series that you can get at Best Buy but I am not sure if this title is sold there.
Best Buy also carries new series of Lucio Fulci, Rami and several other hard to find 70's/80's cult films all uncut. I was really suprised to find them there as some of the titles are really out of left field.
Now, Brewster McCloud is not available on DVD but if it ever comes out I am on it.
