I keep running across the term Connie on message boards. What are they and where do they come from?

Connie=Consuegra. A brand of seconds cigars. They are claimed to be from Punch, Hoyo, El Rey Del Mundo, and one other I think.
I am out, and can't remember all the details. But for the most part, that is it.

Beer_Man,
Connies are just as OPT stated and are one of the best lower cost smokes around. I have a large variety and I can hook you up with a few if you want. The 84's, 843's, 16's, 17's and 9's are very popular.
We still need to get that mini-herf going in Tulsa so let me know and I can get you some. Most connies that I've got have some decent age on them which is important with this brand as they usually ship rather wet.

They're also seconds of Belinda.
They're available from JR and a few others.
Mike's (http://www.mikescigars.com) sells them as "Old Fashioned Honduras" In case you don't know Mike's Old Fashioned original line are factory seconds of Macanudo & Partagas. Good smokes for bucks.
