I would not reccomend taking your kids to this movie... I took my 2 yr old daughter who has been begging me to go and after sitting through it I wish I hadn't. The humor is crude and way over any childs head... leaving the parents in the theater looking at each other in disbelief. If your kid is over 13... maybe, but the intended audience seems to be much younger than that in its advertising. Im still shaking my head.

Thanks for the heads up on that Cat in the Hat. We'll stay away!

I went 3 doors down at the local multiplex and watched Brother Bear w/ the 4 year old boy. It was way better that I was expecting and him too. A very good time was had by all 4 of us in the theater! Check it out, animation was very good and movie pacing was xlnt. rns

Thank goodness my two year old twins didn't last through the 40 MINUTES of previews before Cat in the Hat. We alked out before the movie started. Looks like it was a blessing in disguise.

Took my 6 year old on her day off of school.

#1 I never heard her laugh once.
#2 there was only 2 other people in the theater with us.
#3 I fell asleep.

Thanks for the fair warning...My 3 year old likes any movie where he can sit and eat popcorn, but when the popcorn is done, so is he! :D

Thanks for the heads up guys. I was not plannig on going because of how disapointed I was with "The Grinch". The movie did not live up to the book or the cartoon. I think Dr. Seuss does not trasnlate to a 90 min movie.
