I thought I'd throw in a music review here. I have a lot of CDs, some classic Vinyl (50s,60s, a few punk 70s rarities) but to put things in perspective, I bought this latest Beatles stripped down Let It Be.
What strikes me about this album 33 years after its release and nearly 35 after its recording is that despite it being one of the weaker Beatle efforts, it stands above so much else recorded by so many other lesser bands across the years. That is it in a nutshell.
I was and always have been a fan of this band, Abbey Road is one of those records that just cannot be approached, brilliant in all aspects. Now to hear Let It Be the way it was intended to be heard just makes all the other albums' fresh all over again.
("On behalf of the group and myself, I hope we passed the audition").
