Bought a box of Monte #2s overseas and would like to know if it is best to put them in a desktop humidor in the box, or to take them all out of the box to put them in the humidor. Any ideas on this???

Thanks,
Kjunge

Put the box in the humidor. Send the cigars to me.:D

Don't think it matters much, the box will act as a humidity buffer (slightly good) or out of the box the cigars may draw some aroma off the cedar (slightly, and also slightly good). I think most people take them out of the box for a desktop, yes?

yep, for a desktop humi, most do take them out.
most use a cabinet humi or coolerdor type for box storage, and aging.

IMHO i would take the cellophane off them as well...let them breathe:w .

No cello on them. Thanks for all the advice. I will take them all out of the box and put them gently to sleep at the bottom of the humidor.
